The Tudor Revival style came about as a reaction to the more dramatic, Gothic Revival architecture of the 19th century, offering something a bit more grounded and homey. When we were asked to design a landscape in that style, the client wanted it to feel like a nod to classic Tudor gardens—but with a more relaxed, modern-day English vibe. So, we blended traditional elements like stone paths, trimmed hedges, and a sense of symmetry with softer plantings and a more natural feel. The result is a garden that feels timeless and welcoming, with just the right mix of old-world charm and modern comfort.
