Inspired by history, permaculture, and the growing awareness that the modern food system is often unhealthy and unsustainable, we have spent the past 17 years studying and practicing biodynamic composting and food production. Much of our work focuses on applying these methods in city parks and residential landscapes. Over the years, we have designed and built many modern homestead-style landscapes throughout the Metro Detroit area. These spaces integrate composting, soil building, and edible plants to create productive and regenerative environments.
Our goal is to create landscapes that provide healthy food while reconnecting families and communities—especially children—with the land around them.
